South African fruit growers are giving UK Junior School children in years 5 and 6 the opportunity to learn about South African culture and the chance to win one of three cash prizes to spend on school resources. All they ask in return is that you produce a collage and donate some of your unwanted books to their underprivileged, farm and rural schools.
Simply incorporate four topic areas into your everyday classes, create a collage to demonstrate your learning of at least one of these, and get collecting those books that are gathering dust on your shelves – they will be well loved in South Africa!
1st prize is £2,000
2nd prize is £1,000
3rd prize is £500
All valid entries will receive a certificate at the end of the competition.
